How to set yourself up for failure

Cope with excessive stress by drinking heavily during the week. Drink mostly soda or wine instead of water. Eat lots of ice cream and unecessary carbs. And cheese. Do activities you don’t normally do, like weeding and packing. Get a few spider bites while packing. Eat more ice cream. And cheese. Do not, under any circumstances drink water. Water and healthy food are for mortals.

Commence weekend speedwork. 400 meter repeats on the treadmill. Time to see if big Bertha goes up to 10mph!



  1. hahaha oh do I hear ya on this one. Friends in town for a week equals wayyy too many alcoholic beverages and not enough h20! I woke up feeling so *blah* the other day. whether the run is good or bad, it just makes ya feel better. 😉

  2. LOL at least you burn off some of the junk, right? (That’s what I tell myself…)
